MCAC up for Sale?

If it doesn't sell, they may close it. Anyone that buys it would buy it for the land, not the pool! Where will Ultraswim go? Where will the new Queens College teams swim? Where will the 4 Downtown teams swim? High school meets, College Conference meets etc... Time to speak up!

Swimming in Charlotte may change...forever, if we don't let the County Commissioners hear how important this facility is to the community.

Contact the county commissioners and let them hear from you!

Great conversation on COEs and the role of the Club Coach from SwimmingWorld TV

This week's Split Time topic is a hot issue for club coaches across the country including our guest today, John Collins. A role that was once the backbone of USA Swimming is changing, and some club coaches fear their role will soon be to head feeder programs. College swimming has always relied on clubs to develop talent before sending swimmers off to school, but a recent development within USA Swimming's "Post Graduate Centers," has left club coaches worried that their most talented swimmers could be targeted by these, "Centers of Excellence," even before they reach college.
